Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Maharashtra on August 30 to launch several key projects. He will start in Mumbai, addressing the Global Fintech Fest at 11 AM, which will host over 800 speakers and launch 20 reports on fintech innovations.
Later, at 1:30 PM, he will be in Palghar to lay the foundation stone for the ₹76,000 crore Vadhvan Port project, one of India’s largest deepwater ports. The port aims to enhance maritime connectivity, reduce costs, and create jobs while following sustainable practices.
PM Modi will also launch 218 fisheries projects worth ₹1,560 crores, aimed at boosting the sector and generating over five lakh jobs, and will roll out a ₹360 crore Vessel Communication System to enhance safety for fishermen at sea.
